I read that Multichoice's PR representative, Elizabeth Dziva, has indicated her company has started a series of cutoffs on Zimbabweans that subscribe to DStv South Africa. I am subscribed locally but I am overwhelmed by SA adverts and competitions that do not apply to me. Seems like a Zimbabwean account is nothing more than a collection point and derives very little benefit.
Local DStv with less content variety is becoming even more expensive and for most Zimbabwean, I think subscribing to DStv SA is the best option to have content variety. As long as there is a cheaper way to access more content and beat the system, some Zimbabweans will hold on to their South African signal. I think Ms Dziva and her employee doesn't realise that by over-milking the market they are forcing people to connect to illegal platforms. The Zimbabwean package is inferior and expensive and doesn't have local adverts and competitions. We don't have to be feed with adverts and competitions that do not have anything to do with us. Lets see local adverts as well. I ask Ms Dzive to give me one reason why I should subscribe locally.
