I am annoyed, very annoyed, by a mobile cellphone service provider called Econet. The level of being annoyed is so high that I am even swearing at them using unprintable words.

Forget how the company is taking us for a ride in their scratch and win competition in which people rarely win their mere one rand worth of airtime.

I am registering my utmost disgust in receiving unsolicited messages about stupid promotions.

It is shocking to note that the moment you opt out from being sent bulk messages you would have invited them to send more messages about other promotions and products.

Do they think I have the time to be opting out each time they send a message? A single opt out message should be a message to Econet that one is not interested in being disturbed with any
other message.

The rate at which they send these messages is just irritating, especially at night. It is very naive for whoever is behind this messages to disturb my sleep with silly messages such as those saying I have been selected for a draw blah blah blah.

Please Econet stop this nonsense.
